This is a quick write-up of Brooks Adrenaline ASR 5 trail running shoes.
Used for when you need a running shoe for the cold or trail and are a shoe similar to Brooks Adrenaline for regular running. They’re a trail running shoe. The top is mesh, weather resistant. They are not the same as the [...]

Brooks Addiction 8 running shoes belong to Brooks motion control running shoes line. In the motion control category, the Addiction is consistently one of the top selling motion control shoes in the $90 level.
The Brooks Addiction provides good cushion. If you compare the Brooks Addiction with the Brooks Adrenaline, the Addiction is more cushioned and is much more stable. The Addiction is heavier than the Adrenaline but more stable.
The Brooks Beast is the typical shoe for heavier runners who overpronate severely. Even if an overpronator, that may not be the right shoe. The Brooks Beast is a big motion control shoe, not really for slight overpronators. Standard/premium stability shoes can work just fine in many cases.
The Brooks Beast shoe has more of the high-end stuff than the Brooks Addiction. For the money, the Addiction is a good shoe, but it doesn’t stack up to the Brooks Beast for heavy severe overpronators.

Runner’s World gave the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 the “Best Buy” award for Stability shoes in its Spring Shoe Guide 2008. Brooks Adrenaline GTS 9 running shoes belong to the Brooks support running shoes category.
Brooks Trance 8 running shoes belong to the Brooks support running shoe category.
Known as a high end stability shoe. Not offered in wide widths, for wider widths look to Asics or New Balance. It’s just unfortunate they’d have the Brooks Adrenaline (more suitable for smaller and middle-weight runners w/ overpronation) available in wide widths but [...]
Brooks Switch 2 running shoes are the last shoe that we’ll cover in our posts on Brooks guidance running shoes. Its the low end of Brooks Guidance Shoe Category. The Medial posting is minimal, similar to how the Asics 1110s were from a few years back. The post is almost directly under the arch and lacks the Dual-density posting of many of the higher-end Brooks shoes. Its pretty soft but nowhere near the softness of the Brooks Radius. Its on the heavy side. Fit is typical of Brooks, i.e. wide forefoot, snug arch.

Brooks Glycerin 7 shoe is ideal for neutral runners and mild overpronators. Includes two layers of MoGo stacked in the heel and e-fusion sandwiched in between. Includes HydroFlow in the heel and forefoot.
In staying green, Brooks will be converting most running shoe models by the end of 2009 to their BioMoGo midsoles, which is touted to break down at a much quicker rate in a landfills then standard running shoe midsoles. There is a non-toxic additive to the new material which encourages anaerobic microbes to begin breaking [...]
