Brooks Switch 2 running shoes

Brooks Switch 2 running shoes are the last shoe that we’ll cover in our posts on Brooks guidance running shoes.

Retailing for around $85 moves from single to double piece DRB Accel in midfoot makes the whole shoe more flexible. Increased lateral forefoot flex grooves promotes more lateral release.

Its the low end of Brooks Guidance Shoe Category. The Medial posting is minimal, similar to how the Asics 1110s were from a few years back. The post is almost directly under the arch and lacks the Dual-density posting of many of the higher-end Brooks shoes. Its pretty soft but nowhere near the softness of the Brooks Radius.  Its on the heavy side. Fit is typical of Brooks, i.e. wide forefoot, snug arch.

Cushioning, guidance, and style come standard in this new shoe. Versatile enough to accommodate road rookies and veterans alike, it scores points for price and performance. And that makes it one switch you’ll never regret.
