Brooks Glycerin 7 shoe is ideal for neutral runners and mild overpronators. Includes two layers of MoGo stacked in the heel and e-fusion sandwiched in between. Includes HydroFlow in the heel and forefoot.
The new shoe will have a price increase to $125, be available in medium widths only, but will have two color options from the start. Will have a softer, more resilient blown rubber outsole with new outsole design, which provides better release and deflection at impact by the new strike zone design. Should be plenty cushy yet still an overall stable shoe. The forefoot MoGo configuration has changed slightly, with a separate, slightly softer piece of foam sandwiching into the forefoot.

There are some revisions on the upper height, however there were not changes to the heel and tongue top heights. The running shoes accommodate orthotics very well, as too shallow of a shoe causes orthotic wearers to often “pop” out. What is referred to as “top line height” revisions occurred only in areas that scoop the medial and lateral sides of the foot. Tongue and heel heights is what helps keep the foot in. The changes in the heights were tested on both non-orthotic and orthotic wearers.
They are more of a high mileage cushion running shoe than the radius. The cushioning is definitely there without being mushy, as found with many Nike and Asics shoes.
